Antara Biswas – 28th September 2022 – better known by her stage name Monalisa, is an Indian actress, Bigg Boss contestant and model. She was born 21 November 1982 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She has done mostly Bhojpuri movies, and has also appeared in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movies.
She making her debut in Bollywood with Blackmail, starring Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty. Before this she acted special appearance in Bunty Aur Babli, Tauba Tauba, Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence, Ek Hi Bhool and Jalwa: Fun in Love. Her Kannada debut movie Jackpot, then she acted in Encounter Dayanayak.
Antara’s Telugu debut Jagadam and other Telugu movies are Nagaram, Boni and Bablu. Her Tamil movies are Vathiyar , En Peyar Kumarasamy, Kadhalukku Maranamillai and Silambattam. She acted more than seventy movies in Bhojpuri language. She also participated many television shows like Nach Baliye 8, Comedy Dangal, Kitchen Champion, Smart Jodi, Nazar and Bigg Boss 10 she was evicted on day 97.
