Huma Qureshi, Celebrity, Actress, Valimai 27th Feb 2022 : Huma Qureshi was born on 28 July 1986 in New Delhi. She is an Indian actress and model who mainly in Bollywood movies. She signed two year contract with Hindustan Unilever for television commercials. She promoted multiple of products, including Pears soap, Mederma cream, Vita Marie, Saffola oil, Nerolac with Shah Rukh Khan and Samsung Mobile with Aamir Khan. During Samsung Mobile commercial shoot, producer and director Anurag Kashyap was impressed with her acting ability and promised to give opportunity in his movie. He signed Qureshi for a three movie deal with his company Anurag Kashyap Films.
She made her debut movies Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and Part 2 in 2012. Those movies got many award nominations for her acting. She won BIG Star Entertainment Awards under Most Entertaining Actor (Film) Debut—Female category and South African Film and Television Awards under Debut Actor of the Year—Female category for those movies.
After she acted several movies as Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Ek Thi Daayan, D-Day, Dedh Ishqiya, Badlapur, Jolly LLB 2, Dobaara: See Your Evil, Bell Bottom, Highway(Marathi), White(Malayalam), Viceroy’s House(English), Kaala(Tamil) and Army of the Dead(Hollywood). She acted some TV series Upanishad Ganga, Leila and Maharani. She won Stardust Awards Breakthrough Supporting Performance—Female for Dedh Ishqiya and 2021 Filmfare OTT Awards Best Actress in a Leading Role for Maharani. Her upcoming apperances are Mithya, Ajith Kumar’s Valimai, Monica, Netflix Original ‘O My Darling’ and Double XL.
