Kaniha, Actress, TV Presenter 12-Feb-2022 : Divya Venkatasubramaniam stage name Kaniha, is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. Her debut movie was Susi Ganeshan’s Five Star in 2002 with Prasanna. After she acted Aethirree with Madhavan, Dancer and Varalaaru with Ajith Kumar. She acted some Kannada movie Annavru,Rajakumari and Sye with Sudeep.
She acted several Malayalam movies Ennittum, Abrahaminte Santhathikal, Rudra Simhasanam, Mylanchi Monchulla Veedu, To Noora with Love, Orissa, Bavuttiyude Namathil, Spirit, Cobra, Drona, My Big Father and Bhagyadevatha. She got Kerala Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress for Bhagyadevatha and nominated same movie for Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam.
She worked as dubbing artist for three movies which are Sachein(2005) for Genelia, Anniyan(2005) for Sadha and Sivaji: The Boss(2007) for Shriya Saran. She also participated Kalakka Povathu Yaaru(Vijay TV), Mega Thangavettai(Sun TV),Annual Chutti Vikatan Children’s Quiz Show(Sun TV), Thiruvillayadal Serial(Sun TV), Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Njanum(Asianet), Uggram Ujjwalam(Mazhavil Manorama), Grand Magical Circus(Amrita TV) and Kerala Dance League(Amrita TV).
